Volunteer Opportunities
We offer a variety of volunteer roles to suit different skills and interests:
- Teaching and Tutoring: Help educate children at Lidos Junior Schools or in our after-school programs.
- Healthcare Support: Assist in our health education initiatives or medical outreach programs.
- Construction and Maintenance: Help build or maintain schools, water systems, and other infrastructure.

Volunteer Requirements
To volunteer with Donatella Foundation, you should:
- Be at least 18 years old (16+ for local volunteers with parental consent)
- Commit to a minimum of 2 weeks for international volunteers, or 3 months for local volunteers
- Be in good health and able to work in sometimes challenging conditions
- Have a passion for community service and a willingness to learn
- Respect local cultures and customs
- Pass a background check (for roles working directly with children)
Application Process
- Online Application: Fill out our online volunteer application form, detailing your skills, experience, and areas of interest.
- Initial Interview: If your application is shortlisted, we’ll arrange a phone or video interview to discuss your motivations and expectations.
- Reference Check: We’ll contact your provided references.
- Placement Offer: If successful, we’ll offer you a volunteer placement and discuss start dates.
- Pre-Departure Training: For international volunteers, we provide cultural orientation and project-specific training.
