Empowering children for a better world

Our work benefits the public at large

We support local initiatives, empower women, and cultivate a sense of community to build self-reliance on the ground in Wakiso District.

Head & Founder

Donatella Foundation is a registered, community-led NGO working directly in Bukalango, Kakiri. We partner with local government offices, schools, and families to secure educational opportunities for vulnerable children while addressing everyday barriers like hygiene, sanitation, and food insecurity.

Every contribution is tracked from donor to doorstep. We favor lasting infrastructure — boreholes, classrooms, and trained local staff — over short-term relief, so the progress we build together continues long after a single gift or visit.

Children in school

United effort to support children

True, sustainable development requires an intersection of health, water, and schooling. When we construct boreholes, we prevent illnesses that steal kids from classrooms. When we sponsor classrooms, we unlock opportunities.

  • Fully covered tuition fees structure at Lidos Junior School
  • Sourcing and drilling safe village water points
  • Providing high-protein meals daily to reduce local malnutrition
